KoMo's Magic grain mill: A striking marriage of solid natural beechwood and satin finish stainless steel, the Magic has the same internal construction and excellent performance as the mainstay Fidibus 21 grinder. Advanced corundum/ceramic burrs and a strong, high efficiency motor produce 3.5 ounces per minute of the finest flour. Its stainless hopper holds 2 lb., 2 oz. of grain — enough for over two pounds of whole grain bread. The Magic produces 3.5 ounces of flour per minute at the finest setting, and can run continuously so you can refill and keep grinding for any quantity of flour you need. The Magic grinds wheat (both hard and soft), oat groats (dehulled oats), rice, triticale, kamut, spelt, buckwheat, barley, rye, millet, teff, quinoa, amaranth, sorghum and dent (field) corn. It will also grind spices, lentils and dry beans (pinto, red, garbanzo, kidney, etc.) It isn't suitable for herbs, oilseeds like flax or sesame, popcorn, or fibrous materials. A very compact footprint means every kitchen has room for KoMo's Magic mill.
The grind of the Magic is continuously adjustable from fine flour to coarse meal and cracked grain, simply by turning the hopper bowl to align its index mark with the graphic scale on the front of the mill. Cleanup is minimal and easy, and access to the milling chamber takes only a moment, and requires no tools.
Award winning performer: The grinding mechanism in KoMo's Magic model (shared with the Fidibus 21) received the highest rating in its category by the German natural products magazine Oeko Test.
